In light of this pandemic, financial woes and other struggles, 2 thoughts come to mind:
1) Self-care needs to be a priority.
2) There is still a lot of good in this world.
Self-care is about doing something you love, something to help you decompress from the stress of work and life.
Next time you get a chance to do some self-care and you may need to make that time happen, go take care of yourself.
Caring for a child with autism can be unbelievably rewarding, it also can be very hard.
This “new norm” we are living surely presents a number of difficulties to parents and families, making tough circumstances even harder.
Which leads me to the next part, there is still good in this world. If you look for it, you can find it.
Extraordinary, even ordinary people are going above and beyond.
